Former investment banker Dennis B. Levine was sentenced today to two years in prison and $362,000 in fines for his central role in the biggest Wall Street insider-trading scandal ever.

The 34-year-old Levine, who faced a maximum of 20 years in prison, appeared stonefaced as U.S. District Judge Gerard L. Goettel rendered the sentence. Levine's family, including his wife Laurie, also displayed little emotion.
