Facing the sheriff court WITH the theft in Budapest of the master
tapes of the BBC's 13-part, GBP 8 million TV series of Robin Hood, re-
shoots are already under way, according to Keith Allen, who plays the
dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham. "We are out here now for quite some
time and we don't really know what's going on, but we are re-
shooting right now," he says. The stolen tapes - 293 of them - would
fill 12 cubic feet, equivalent to the back of a large van. Allen
promises the Sheriff will come down hard on the thieves, declaring:
"Heads would roll, no orifice would be left untouched."
