THE BORDERS have revamped their team for tomorrow's Magners League
match against Ulster in Belfast, with some of their Scotland
internationals picked, while those in line to play against Romania
next weekend have been left out.
Bruce Douglas will return at Ravenhill despite being withdrawn by
the national squad this week, apparently to bulk up, while the
omission of Gavin Kerr and Kelly Brown suggests the pair will face
the Romanians in the first autumn Test at Murrayfield on 9 November.
Douglas, an experienced Test prop, was said by Frank Hadden, the
national coach, to have lost over a stone in weight this year, which
was why he has been put on a performance nutrition programme designed ...
