The NBA season is an 82-game, kaleidoscopic blur, and the
unfortunate consequence is that moments of individual brilliance
often get lost in the colors.
Such is the case with the 48-point effort put forth by Bullets
guard Jeff Malone in a 117-114 victory over the New Jersey Nets
Wednesday night at Capital Centre.
The Bullets' bus keeps rolling down the road. But instead of
looking in the rear-view mirror at Jeff Malone's glory, the team must
address the Philadelphia 76ers tonight at 7:30 at the Spectrum. In
that game, there exists a slight chance the Bullets might be without
their finest big-game player, center Moses Malone.
