ONCE referred to as "the change" and only then in self-
consciously hushed tones, the menopause was something women used to
suffer in silence, while their hormones went bonkers, their memory
went AWOL and their body temperature rose and fell at an
unpredictable rate.
Thankfully, the M-word is now no longer taboo. There is much more

symptoms the body throws at us. But while your GP is likely to
