WASHINGTON, April 15 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The school year will be over in a few short months, but the Afterschool Alliance will be working harder than ever. The Alliance, a national organization dedicated to raising public awareness about afterschool education programs, was awarded funding totaling $1.2 million from JCPenney Afterschool to increase public awareness of and support for afterschool.
