Two leading international tobacco control advocates, Dr. Eva
Kralikova of the Czech Republic and Mary Assunta of Malaysia, will be
in New York City on April 22 to discuss the tobacco industry's
aggressive pursuit of new markets and customers around the world,
with disastrous consequences for public health. The advocates will
also discuss ongoing negotiations on an international tobacco control
treaty, the Framework Convention on Tobacco Control, and the need for
U.S. leadership.
During their U.S. tour, the advocates will speak in New York,
