A delegation of internationally recognized Muslim leaders, scholars and jurists representing a cross-section of the Muslim world is planning a goodwill tour of the United States under the auspices of the Muslim World League (MWL). The delegation is headed by Dr. Abdullah al-Turki, Secretary General of the Muslim World League, and former minister of Islamic Affairs in Saudi Arabia.

This delegation will be visiting New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles from June 25th thru July 15th, 2002. The objective is to meet with and offer briefings to prominent leaders and officials of the media, interfaith communities, academia,
