WASHINGTON, Oct. 10 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Acting Under Secretary of Transportation for Security Adm. James M. Loy announced the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) today awarded a one- year contract for up to $3.3 million to the Jackson Hole Airport Board of Jackson, WY, for private screening companies to provide both passenger and baggage screening at Jackson Hole Airport.

Jackson Hole is one of five airports nationwide participating in a federal pilot program allowing private companies to provide passenger and baggage screening as specified in the Aviation and Transportation Security Act of 2001.
