Since being elected chair of GHSA, I have talked and worked with nearly every State Highway Safety Office across the country. Each office is unique and solves its safety challenges somewhat differently. Yet, a common thread among all of us is that we share the most pervasive highway safety problem: alcohol-impaired driving.
