CIBOLO, Texas, Jan. 30 /U.S. Newswire/ -- SAFES, a non-profit
emergency services organization formed over 28 years ago and serving
eight cities and two counties north of San Antonio, Texas, said today
it has been the victim of a hostile takeover by the City of Schertz.
Recently, a lawsuit was filed by SAFES against the City of Schertz
in the United States District Court, Western District of Texas, to
regain SAFES' property and money that was illegally taken by the City
of Schertz.
Recently, it was discovered that for the past two years donations
to the non-profit organization have been illegally diverted by the
City of Schertz for the city's use.
