Article: The Federalist Society's Civil Rights Practice Group to Hold Pre- Oral Argument Discussion of Supreme Court Grutter & Gratz Cases

News Advisory:

On April 1, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral argument in the cases of Grutter and Gratz, which concern the use of racial preferences as admissions criteria to the University of Michigan undergraduate and law school. The day before oral argument, our panel will consider when, and under what circumstances, such use is appropriate. Panelists will also discuss potential outcomes of the cases and the short- and long-term effects on the country.
