WASHINGTON, Aug. 12 /U.S. Newswire/ -- "Planned Parenthood's
disturbing attempt to silence pro-life free speech in Bryan, Texas,
has led to the outrageous banning of the American flag from flying in
the public right-of-way," said Ed Szymkowiak, the national director
of STOPP International, a project of American Life League. The
controversy stems from a complaint made by Planned Parenthood against
a veteran who was flying his flag in early July at half-staff in
front of Planned Parenthood because it performs abortions.
According to the Bryan, Texas, city attorney, the ordinance that
says signs cannot be placed in the public right-of-way also applies
