WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Treasury Secretary John Snow
met with members of the Associated General Contractors of America
(AGC) and other local construction industry leaders in St. Louis,
Missouri today. During the Secretary's trip, he visited a local
construction site, a construction based Charter High School, and
discussed the state of the economy, as well as efforts by President
Bush to create jobs, strengthen the economic recovery and increase
workers' standards of living. He noted that the construction
industry, which is an important segment of the overall U.S. economy,
