WASHINGTON, March 31 /U.S. Newswire/ -- United States Senator Harry Reid (D-Nev.) issued the following statement on behalf of the Kerry campaign in response to OPEC's decision to cut oil production today:

"Once again, George Bush has missed an opportunity to do something about this gas crisis. Even though he campaigned on a promise to 'jawbone' OPEC to stop them from manipulating gas prices, he has yet to live up to that promise. Today we're seeing another example of how George Bush's go-it-alone foreign policy is costing the American people, this time at the pump."
