Article: Freedom Forum Names 19 Chips Quinn Scholars For Spring 2005 Program

ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 28 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Nineteen students of color have been named Chips Quinn Scholars for Spring 2005 by the Freedom Forum. Scholars will work in internships at 17 daily newspapers across the country beginning in early February. The class brings to 899 the total number of young journalists trained as reporters, copy editors, photographers and graphics artists since the program began with six Scholars in 1991.
