Baltimore Orioles third baseman Ray Knight remained hospitalized
here for observation today after suffering a mild concussion Tuesday
night.
He didn't accompany the Orioles back to Baltimore tonight, but
might be released Thursday and travel then, General Manager Hank
Peters said.
Doctors at St. Luke's hospital said Knight was alert and resting
comfortably today and had regained most of his memory. His problem
was that he got dizzy when he tried to stand.
"In all likelihood, he'll come home tomorrow," Peters said.
"Doctors say he has a mild concussion and keeping him in the hospital
another day is a precautionary day. They don't want a guy traveling
around with that kind of thing."
