Article: Fallen Indiana Law Enforcement Officers to be Honored in Washington, DC

Four Indiana law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty during 2004 will be honored at a Washington, DC Candlelight Vigil and ceremony beginning at 8 p.m. EST on May 13. The ceremony will take place at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, which commemorates the service and sacrifices of the more than 17,000 officers who have been killed while protecting public safety since the earliest known death in 1792.
