Article: NLPC Chairman Welcomes FBI Probe of Sharpton; Allegations First Made by NLPC in FEC Complaint Last Year

WASHINGTON, April 13 /U.S. Newswire/ -- According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the FBI has opened a criminal investigation into Al Sharpton's fundraising for his 2004 presidential campaign. Incriminating evidence reportedly was obtained during a wiretap of Detroit businessman LeVan Hawkins in an unrelated corruption investigation, centered in Philadelphia.
