Article: Fallen Law Enforcement Officers from Texas to be Honored in Washington, DC

Law enforcement officers from several Texas communities who died during 2004 will be honored at a Washington, DC Candlelight Vigil and ceremony beginning at 8 p.m. EST on May 13. The ceremony will take place at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial, which commemorates the service and sacrifices of the more than 17,000 officers who have been killed while protecting public safety since the earliest known death in 1792.
