Indeed it was. Together with Sherlock Holmes himself, the
villainous Prof. James Moriarty and dozens of other characters from
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novels and short stories about the
omniscient 19th-century detective, Dr. John H. Watson MD, Indian Army
(ret.), debarked in Geneva the other day for a 10-day trip through
the country Conan Doyle described as "my second-favorite place after
England." The trip will culminate in a reenactment of the famous
fight at the Reichenbach Falls on the Rhine, where Holmes and
Moriarty ...
