ST. LOUIS, Jan. 24 /U.S. Newswire/ -- General Mills Foundation has
awarded a $50,000 grant to Parents as Teachers National Center, the
home of Meld, to help expand services of both programs and improve
the combined work of both organizations in Minnesota. The General
Mills Foundation is one of the 50 largest corporate foundations in
the country and the second largest corporate funder in the Twin
Cities region.
"The General Mills Foundation grant is significant because it will
be used primarily to establish a state office combining both
