WASHINGTON, March 7 /U.S. Newswire/ -- Challenges, ranging from poverty to illness to abuse, have not deterred fifty high school seniors across the state of South Dakota from pursuing their dreams of a better future. In recognition of their determination, strength of character and academic promise, each is being awarded a Horatio Alger South Dakota Scholarship valued at $2,500 in support of their collegiate studies.
