In "Little Victories" at the Round House Theatre, 19th-century
suffragette Susan B. Anthony trudges west in an attempt to raise the
consciousness of the country and promote voting rights for women.
It's a tough battle-women wouldn't get to cast their ballots until
1920, 14 years after Anthony's death.
But whenever her spirits droop, Anthony has someone to confide
in: Joan of Arc, who's facing pretty formidable obstacles herself
what with the battle of Orleans looming on the horizon.
Plucking strong-minded women from various periods of history and
sitting them down side by side can be a fruitful tactic (consider
