MACHIPONGO, Va., Nov. 20 /U.S. Newswire/ -- The following release
was issued today by United Poultry Concerns:
United Poultry Concerns (UPC) activists will hand out "turkeys"
brochures to people at the Southwest Quadrant of Lafayette Park,
across from the White House, tomorrow, Nov. 21, between 12 Noon and 4
p.m. We'll hold a banner saying "Turkeys: Meet One, Don't Eat One."
Our brochures describe the suffering of turkeys for the
Thanksgiving holiday and include "Mrs. Gobblegood's Golden Brown Pie"
as a vegetarian alternative to turkey.
