BOSTON, Feb. 9 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- An East Boston man pleaded guilty Wednesday, February 7, 2007, in federal court to one count of bank robbery.

United States Attorney Michael J. Sullivan and Warren T. Bamford, Special Agent in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in New England, announced that LOUIS D'AMPOLO, 41, formerly of 1 Blackington Street, East Boston, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Douglas P. Woodlock, to a one-count indictment charging him with bank robbery.
