AUSTIN, Texas, March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Efficiency Texas, a broad-
based coalition of electricity consumers, today praised the Public
Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) for releasing a draft rulemaking
proposal intended to improve and expand the energy efficiency
programs managed by Texas's regulated electric utilities. The
Commission will hold a March 19 stakeholder meeting on the proposal
and hopes to conclude its rulemaking by August.
