NEW ORLEANS, La., May 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Dorothy Rubit
has suffered many losses during her lifetime. She survived Hurricane
Katrina, but the 86-year-old woman lost most of her possessions in
the storm. She has also endured the loss of loved ones, and her own
health is failing so badly that she can no longer walk. To help Ms.
Rubit improve her quality of life, The SCOOTER Store has granted her
a "Gift of Mobility".
This week, The SCOOTER Store delivered a free power wheelchair
