WASHINGTON, June 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Special Olympics International today announced the appointment of eight members to its Board of Directors, including two Special Olympic athletes and leaders from business and politics. Three newly elected members were also announced for the Special Olympics International Advisory Committee.

These new Board Members are:
