HARRISBURG, Pa.,Oct. 25/PRNewswire-USNewswire/-- Seventy-two
community learning centers in Pennsylvania will be able to offer
afterschool programs and other activities with the release of nearly
$19 million in federal grants, Education Secretary Gerald L.
Zahorchak announced today.
The funding, provided through the 21st Century Community Learning
Centers program administered by the U.S. Department of Education,
represents the largest amount ever given in Pennsylvania under the
program.
These grants will benefit children and families across the state,
