LUSAKA, January 2 (Xinhua) -- "It is my intention to ensure
ourpeople are at least be able to have the minimum standards of
living meaning that there should be enough food for families, better
housing and essential services, such as clean water, sanitation,
public transport, education and health services," saidLevy Mwanawasa,
who was just sworn in as Zambia's third president.
"We shall therefore ensure our job creation efforts take into
account the need to include the women, the disabled and the youth,"
said Mwanawasa, when describing a beautiful blueprint for
fellowZambians.
Mwanawasa, 53, belongs to a small ethnic group called the Lenje,in
