Georgetown Visitation 53, Bullis 30
Georgetown Visitation guard Catherine Connelly could not find the
words to describe the elation she felt when the Cubs defeated
visiting Bullis yesterday. But one could get a good idea of the
significance of the victory by looking across the court at the
Bulldogs' bench, where players stared blankly as time expired and the
scoreboard read Visitation 53, Bullis 30.
It was Bullis's first loss in Independent School League play in
three years, snapping a 33-game winning streak against league
opponents. Connelly scored 12 points and senior center Stacy Mack had
14 points and 12 rebounds, while forward Mary Jenkins and Mary Lacey
