CAIRO, March 2 (Xinhua) -- Arab League chief Amr Moussa will leave for Libya on Sunday to meet with Libyan leader Muammar Ghaddafi, a spokesman for Moussa announced late Saturday.

"Their talks will focus on the latest developments on the Arab arena and available initiatives on the Mideast peace," the spokesman said, adding that following his Libya trip, Moussa is expected to meet with chief delegates to the 22-member pan-Arab forum in Cairo.

The announcement came after Ghaddafi called for considerations on Libya's pullout from the Arab League earlier in the day.
