A group of religious leaders from Eritrea arrived here Thursday for further talks with the Ethiopian side on the issue of seeking lasting peace between the two countries.

Diplomats here described the move as a breakthrough in peace- building after the more than two-year border war between the two sides, saying that the Eritrean religious leaders' visit is the first time for the two countries in the past four years.
