Article: Over 430 Journalists to Cover BFA First Meeting

More than 430 domestic andoverseas journalists have applied to cover the first Bo'ao Forum for Asia (BFA) annual conference to be held in Bo'ao on the central east coast of Hainan island on April 12 and 13.

One quarter of the applicants are from overseas organizations, including AFP, Reuters and CNN, according to sources from the BFA Secretariat.

More than 100 of the applicants have arrived at Bo'ao, including 44 reporters from Japanese media organizations, making them the biggest overseas news delegation at the BFA annual meeting.

A dozen news organizations from Hong Kong have dispatched some 40 reporters to cover the annual meeting, said the sources.
