Article: Philippine Ex-President Refuses to Enter Plea on Perjury Case

Former Philippine President Joseph Estrada Friday refused to enter any plea in connection with the arraignment of the second perjury case filed against him by the Ombudsman at the anti-graft court.

Estrada told the court that as much as he would not want to be part of the proceedings, he will not participate in all the proceedings in the court neither does he recognize the court- appointed lawyers and he feels that he has nothing to do with what is happening in the court.

He even cited that he does not care whether the reading of the charge sheet is Filipino or English in the court, the Philippine News Agency reported.
