Article: Iraq Dismisses U.S. Claim Over Weapons of Mass Destruction

Iraq on Monday dismissed the claim made by U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney on June 6 that Iraq has been trying to develop weapons of mass destruction.

An Iraqi Foreign Ministry statement said that "on many occasions," Iraq said that it was not interested in joining the armament club with weapons of mass destruction.
