Update 2: Aircraft crashes, pilot injured in air show in South Africa

PRETORIA, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- An aircraft crashed and a pilot was injured during an air show in a military base close to Pretoria, the capital of South Africa, on Sunday morning.

Martie Visser, spokesman for the Africa Aerospace and Defense 2002, said that a Harvard T6G 7728 from SAAF Museum experienced problems and performed an emergency landing while participating in a fly past as part of a Heritage Flight Performance at Waterkloof Air Base Show on Sunday.

The incident occurred at 11:40 a.m. (0940 GMT) and about 10 km southeast of the air show, which attracts more than 10,000 visitors on Sunday.
