Russian GDP growth to reach 3.9 percent in 2002

MOSCOW, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) -- Russia's gross domestic production (GDP) will increase 3.9 percent to 4 percent in 2002, Russian Deputy Economic Development and Trade Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said on Wednesday.

He told a session of Budget Committee of Russian State Duma ( lower house of parliament) that 3.9 percent was most likely scenario. "In ruble terms, this figure will total 11 trillion rubles," he said.
