Vietnam's rice export value increases

HANOI, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's rice export in value is estimated at 625 million US dollars in the first nine months of this year, 18.9 percent more than that in the same period last year.

The revenue hike came from overall price increase in world market. The country exported a total of 2.8 million tons of rice up to now, a 14 percent decrease over the same period last year, according to a report of the Vietnamese Ministry of Trade on Thursday.
