Chinese Taipei bets bank on Asiad billiards bullion
BUSAN, Sept. 29 (Xinhua) -- After victories in the Bangkok Asian
Games, the Chinese Taipei delegation is again betting bank on the
billiards competitions at the 14th Asiad running from today to
October 14 in South Korea's port city of Busan.
For the largest-ever Asian Games, Chinese Taipei has sent a
contingent of 359 athletes including 145 women, and 109 officials.
Delegation chief Chuan Tsun-che, also president of both the Asian
Pocket Billiard Union and the Chinese Taipei Billiards Association,
expressed confidence that his players were chalked up and ready to
shoot pool as they won two billiard gold medals in Bangkok four
