UNHCR to repatriate 40000 refugees from Zambia in 2003

LUSAKA, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- The United Nations High Commission for Refugees(UNHCR) says it plans to repatriate 40,000 refugees by April next year.

UNHCR Communications Officer Kelvin Shimo based in Lusaka told journalists here Monday that another 30,000 refugees would be repatriated in 2004.

The refugees that will be repatriated are those in refugee camps in western and northern Zambia.
