Philippine military vows to finish Abu Sayyaf group
MANILA, Oct. 16 (Xinhua) -- The Philippine military said on
Wednesday that its new campaign against kidnap-for-ransom group Abu
Sayyaf has been successful so far, and vowed to finish these
terrorist bandits.
"We started it, we will finish it," said Brigade General Rudolfo
Diaz, deputy chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Southern
Command (Southcom), adding that the offensive coded " Operation End
Game" has been deemed successful in the southern province of Sulu,
according to the Philippine News Agency.
"Oplan End Game" is designed to rescue the four local women
