Mexican President calls for faster economic development
LOS CABOS, Mexico, Oct. 22 (Xinhua) -- Mexican President Vicente
Fox said here on Tuesday that the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation
(APEC) economies "are on the right path, but it is a must to
accelerate the process."
He delivered the speech at the Mexican tourist resort of Los
Cabos, in Baja California Sur State, where senior officials from the
APEC forum are meeting to finalize the agenda of the 10th informal
meeting of the APEC leaders scheduled for October 26-27.
He said members are partners in a drive for free trade, and: "
We're in search for a firm economic growth within a framework of
peace and security."
