Bali to host money laundering meeting next week

JAKARTA, Dec. 14 (Xinhua) -- Officials from over 30 countries and international institutions are to meet in Bali on Dec. 17 and Dec. 18 to discuss money laundering and terrorist financing measures in the region.

According to the Jakarta Post here Saturday, the two-day meeting, the first big international meeting to be held since the Bali blasts in mid-October this year, will be co-hosted by Indonesia and Australia. It will focus on capacity building measures from the participating countries in detecting such crimes.
