Brazilian left-wing candidate wins 49 percent of votes
BRASILIA, Oct. 6 (Xinhua) -- The first exit poll released by
Ibope indicated that 49 percent of the votes in Sunday's
presidential elections were won by Workers Party (PT) candidate Luiz
Inacio "Lula" da Silva.
On the other hand, 20 percent of the votes went to ruling-party
