US military equipment unloaded in Turkish port

ANKARA, March 7 (Xinhua) -- A ship carrying US military equipment started to unload military vehicles, ambulances, work machines, containers and other equipment in Turkey's southern port of Iskenderun early Friday, the Anatolian News Agency reported.

The 20,000 gross-ton Ro-Ro ship Antares came and docked the Mediterranean port in southern Hatay province on Thursday night, the report said.

The Antares had come to Iskenderun port on Feb. 24, unloaded military equipment and left the port the same day.
