Figure skating world championships to go ahead, says ISU

GENEVA, Mar. 20 (Xinhua) -- The figure skating world championships scheduled for March 24-30 in Washington D.C. will go ahead as planned, in spite of the on-going war on Iraq, the sport' s world governing body the International Skating Union (ISU) said on Thursday.
