Sudan has nothing to do with mass destruction weapons: FM

KHARTOUM, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- Sudan's Foreign Minister Mustafa Othman Ismail said on Thursday his country has nothing to do with mass destruction weapons.

Refuting a report by the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) which accused Libya, Syria and Sudan of seeking possession of mass destruction weapons, Ismail told reporters that Sudan was a signatory of the international treaty banning mass destruction weapons.
