Australian actor found dead at Hollywood home

LOS ANGELES, June 9 (Xinhua) -- Australian actor Trevor Goddard, who played Lt. Cmdr. Mic Brumby on the CBS series "JAG," was found dead at his North Hollywood home in suspected suicide, Los Angeles County Coroner's Office said Monday.

Goddard's girlfriend discovered his body lying in a bed at around noon on Sunday, Coroner's Office spokesman Craig Harvey said. Preliminary investigation indicated that his death was a possible suicide by an overdose of unknown illegal drugs, Harvey said.

Investigators, however, found no clue to why Goddard killed himself in the notes discovered at his home.
